This auction is for an exceptionally old, 1826 "Matron Head" Large cent Coin.

With as much detail still in the "LIBERTY" and the Date and Legends, this coin easily falls into the Very Good Condition. It has been very well circulated and has a "PIT" on the reverse side, but considering it is 91 years old, it still shows enough detail to allow it to be identified.
