This auction is for the 2015 Niue Washington Memorial 1 oz Silver Proof $2 NGC PF70 ULTRA CAMEO Early Releases.

This coin, minted from the Pacific Island of Niue, is part of the American National Monument series. It beautifully honors the 555 ft. monument built in remembrance of American leader and hero, President George Washington.

This coin was the Second of a set of 4 coins in the America’s National Monuments series. While this silver Washington Memorial coin was issued for the country of Niue, it was actually minted by PAMP Suisse. This design had a mintage limit of 5,000 coins.

This coin contains 1 Troy oz. of .999 fine silver and since it was struck by PAMP Suisse, you can be sure of the weight and purity of this coin.

This Niue Washington Memorial coin has been graded by the NGC. It received the highest grade available for a proof coin, PF70. Even when this coin is viewed under magnification, it is completely flawless. Two additional designations were given to this coin, Ultra Cameo and Early Releases. These designations are not as important as the grade, but they help to separate this coin from others like it with the same grade. The Ultra Cameo designation was awarded because of the extremely high level of visual contrast this coin displays.
