Camera works well and uses 2 AA Alkaline batteries and XD picture card type memory card. (neither included) 3 X optical zoom and 7.1 MP. SCREEN HAS SOME SMALL DEAD SPOTS. YOU CAN SEE THESE IN THE PICTURES OF THE MOM AND CHILD. THE DEAD SPOTS ON THE SCREEN ARE ON THE CHILD'S FACE. THEY ARE SMALL AND DO NOT PREVENT YOU FROM SEEING THE MENU OPTIONS OR FRAMING YOUR PICTURES.
