These are parts taken from a Gateway Desk Top Computer that was fried by a virus.

Why do people send out viruses to destroy other people's Computers? I am just wondering. What do they get from it? anyone know I'd sure like that info.

Pictures 16 & 18 are of the case that they were taken out of and are not a part of the auction. I just wanted you to see the PC that they came from.

I don't know that much about PCs just screwdrivers and how to take things apart.

I do know there is a DVD thing in it that says rewritable. all the wires were unplugged none cut. everything from the inside of the PC that would fit in a medium flat rate box in in here. just missing one big fan and some metal boxing and of course the big electronic board. hard drive or whatever it's called. you will probably know more of what is what than i do .

shows that i know nothing about computers. seems like i have a picture of the hard drive included and didn't know what it was until i saw some hard drives listed in the computer section. any way i don't know for sure what was wrong with it . i only knew that one night it was working fine and the next day only the fan would come on. a computer fellow with the cable company just told me that it probably wasn't a good idea to take it to the shop. so i thought it was gone so i took it apart. if you know how to check computer parts you should get a great deal with this box. i knkow the cd rom is fine. it's a little scratched up because i tried to get the gateway recovery disk out. when i saw it was going to be a problem getting it out i just left it in so you will be getting a free gateway recovery disk that is not shown in the pictures.
