The listing, FOLK ART MIXED MEDIA ANGEL PAINTING has ended.

Ok, this is an angel that I was working on, and before it was finished I had decided for whatever reason that I didn't like it, so I had hubby use a skill saw and separate the head from the body. I do this to keep people from taking my discarded art out of my garbage,(yes, as weird as that is,people have done that here where I live...lol!! )So my friend sees it and she really likes it, so I finish it up, and it just so happens that now I really like it too!!.So point being it will have a hairline seam between the neck and the body, no big deal, as their is a natural break there anyway. This piece is so pretty and vintage looking! because of how worn it is, it almost looks like an old store sign. The letter "F" is made from a license plate, and the other part of the wing is cut from an old book page. As always this piece is not pristine!! It is very whimsical,rustic, and primitive looking,with an antique finish! It measures 14" long by 5.5" wide...Thanks guys!

In 1880 when Portugual brought all the art, ceramic and style to Brazil. When you have a charge check out some art from Minas Gerais, Ouro Preto- Brazil.

This is very cool & how it "evolved" from being cut & put in the trash to "resurrected" into a snarly? faced? but whimsical( I don't know why I like the word whimsical, so much!) maybe a very young more carefree child-like time in my life, like many other people's? Very cool Angel! I look at it & see so much. Memories? Etc. I am so glad you changed your mind, Because I am sure every piece of your art has a story behind it, which is so interesting when I find out? Dark yet hopeful. Thanks Elijah! Yep, I was in a mood for sure with this one...lol! I wasn't feeling it, so my friend says "there is nothing wrong with it, so I finished it, and I like it now. Maybe "pms"....lol Yeah, she has a darkness to her, you can see her mood, in her weird face and expression....lol...Thanks me friend!

Every time, just a few now...I look at this Angel, she is flying as someone above in their comment said, "Fly" really cool as she could be flying and still at the same time. I am glad you decided to keep & finish her. It all fits, so much meaning anyone could see in her. Well we shall see, I have little time to list, but this is just a very moving angel, to me. Right! Hey Elijah, Yeah, I feel like she is flying! She is very odd, which is what is cool about her! You like zombie art, and I like dog and cat art, although I have never owned a cat in my life.....lol we are all so unique in our tastes...My friend asked me once why I was so hung up on the cats and dogs, oh, and houses...painted houses...lol go figure!!
