Looking for some great reading materials? I'm giving away 38 books in total and consists of both paperback and hardcover. They're all in pretty good condition, please look over photos. As to whether or not it comes from a smoke/pet free home, I wouldn't know. A Donation box was giving away free books, so I took them all. These will be shipped Media and may the best bidder wins!
Awesome!! Who knows, I might bid on yours if there's anything in there I like. BTW, this is a big box, it's going to cost about $10.00 media. Already did the math work. :) In case anyone else reads this, it's still FREE shipping within the USA. lol
great auction! I went to school with Dick Preston(Hot Zone- great book about Eboli, and at the time it hadn't reallyexploded onto the scene, he warned us, in this book.).His brother Doug is also a wonderful writer he writes often with Lee Child.
Must be nice to know a famous writer, especially during the school years. :) I wonder what they were like being in high school. Were they bad boys, good boys, teacher's pet? lol
MindBodySpirit Doug Preston's family was close knit, he was very funny , great sense of humor, loved to playpranks, especially on his father, who was a bit straight laced so Doug got a kick out of shocking him, and others , too mostly telling stories, exagerated or totally made up , he had a great imagination as a kid, was curious about everything and any subject. His brother Richard was a bit more serious and much less into the imaginitive side. Conversations in the kitchen where many kids came to visit were often about howthe world worked, what made people tick, why are we here, the cosmos, new discoveries, time machines, and so on.I didn't know Lee Childs, but I've heard he's very interesting too.
Thanks for sharing, I love hearing stories like this. We learn some interesting facts about both the authors. I wished I knew some famous writer in person. lol
