The listing, 1957 Topps Hit Stars Steve Lawrence #12 has ended.
Here up for bids is the following trading card;
1957 Topps Hit Stars #12 Steve Lawrence (RC)(1 light surface edge crease, Ink Staining (From Printer))(Decent Corners)
From what I have been told, this is considered a rookie card because this is the first major series cards made of certain artists in the set ever.
Birth name Sidney Liebowitz.
His career started in 1957 and continues to this very day. Started off as a singer (Steve & Eydie) and is now guest appearing in current TV shows. Once had his own Steve Lawrence Show. Frank Sinatra had said on several occasions that Steve Lawrence was the best vocalist he's ever heard. His hit "Go Away Little Girl" went #1. Also wrote the hit song "I Gotta Be Me" done on the short lived show but made famous by Sammy Davis Jr.
Please enlarge the photos to see the exact details of the card. There will be no GIN on this auction so please refrain from asking. Thank you for watching and good luck to all those bidding.
