Vintage Post Card Postmarked 1890?
I can't read the entire postmark, but it does have a note on it.
The line you see horizontally through the picture is the plastic from the holder it was in when I scanned it. I cannot guarantee that the color you see on your monitor is the exact color of the stamp. Every monitor is different.
I am sorry but I cannot offer GIN on any of my stamp and souvenir sheet listings. I have had allot of people messaging and asking me to do GIN and I have had to decline out of fairness to all who are interested in my auctions.
I will mail within 7 days of the end of the auction.
I live in a very rural area and get to town about once a week.
I proudly reuse and recycle packing envelopes and materials.
Thank you so much for your interest! Have fun!

Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826), the third president of the United States, appears on the 2-cent Liberty, which was issued on September 15, 1954, at San Francisco, California. The postcard rate was two cents from its debut through July 31, 1958, and the stamp saw heavy use for that reason.

Thank you! I should have known that! I was too busy looking at the postmark and didn't even look at the stamp. Which is a pretty silly mistake since I sell stamps...

YW. I debated whether to post it or not as I didn't want to seem condescending nor did I want to devalue the auction. I've been trying to figure out the date myself but all I've gleaned is the address style was more common in late 1800's and early 1900's and the postmark style seems '01-'02. Being a philatelist you're probably aware of those things, tho.

My guess is the 18.90 is the price at the time of a previous sale. I can't find anything about the artist nor picture although it reminds me of WWI art.

Very intriguing mystery you've up for auction here! Fanning as I appreciate your integrity and I love a challenge: My curiosity is piqued! >-P

No worries. I still can't believe it didn't look at the stamp...:)
