The listing, Great Set of Antique Salt & Pepper Shakers has ended.

This set of Large Antique Salt & Pepper shakers> They're made of wood and ceramic. They belonged to my aunt who passed more than 30 years ago. That makes them older than 30 yrs. but, I don't have an exact date. They are in excellent condition for their age. The only signs of wear are a very small nick on the very bottom of the base & at the top where the varnish looks a slightly warn. Pictures show any signs of wear so check them out before bidding. May take a while here, because I have to ask for more credits. These are really old, but I'm not quite how old. If they don't go, I'll taking them to a dealer.

Some things we have to ask more for because of its value. I just keep relisting stuff its no big deal you might as well get what its worth and especially since you are paying shipping. If it helps the blue delft shakers were made all over but very common the ones with wood are usually made in Germany and a famous maker there were made by Zassenhaus, his designs that had wood in them were most common during the 1940's...I hope that helps :)

Thanks for the information, I'm sure it will help. I'm keeping a few of my uncle's antiques, and I'm sure I'll have fun trying to find out just how old they are. :D
