Description
The listing, Vanity Fair Gray Front Closure Bra, 30D has ended.
Purchased from Macys. Faded brand name and size on inner panel. It looks like 30D, but to be sure I included measurements: 30" band, 9" at widest area of the cup.
Questions & Comments
You measure your bra band size by measuring your underbust (ribcage) and adding 4" to that measurement and that number is your band size.So if you had a 32" ribcage you would add 4" to that and your band size would be 36.
To find your cup size you measure around the widest part of your bust and however many inches more it is than your band size you count that many letters into the alphabet. So if your bust measured 40" that would be 4 more than your size 36 band and you would count 4 letters into the alphebet "A-B-C-D" and you would have a D cup
Your size would then be a size 36D.
A 30D bra would fit someone with a 26" ribcage, and a 34" bust measurement. There's no way a 30" band would fit someone with a 26" ribcage. I wear a size 32 band and my bra bands measure 26" and they fit my 28" ribcage. If this bra has a 30" band it will probably fit someone with a 32" ribcage(a size 36 band). So I think this is a size 36D not 30D.Hope that helps clear any confusion! :)
