The listing, UNCIRCULATED 1921 MORGAN SILVER DOLLAR has ended.
This auction is for an Uncirculated 1921 Morgan Silver Dollar.
This coin does display a few "Bag Marks" on the Obverse but no wear anywhere on it. I received this directly from the bag, when purchased, and was the one with the least amount of marks on it. Because of the bag marks, I am setting the GIN extremely low.
The pics and scans will also show you why you should never purchase coins in a "Bank Bag". A bag will have 100 coins bouncing around and off of each other therefore, the marks and dings are inevitable. A TPGS will always allow for contact marks and dings on a coin because of this fact, and will still allow for up to an MS64 as per the Sheldon 70 point grading scale.
I am sure that there are quite a few collectors that do not know the logistics of the Sheldon 70 point grading scale. Wikipedia has the best explanation of what each grade that is given to a coin entails, and all collectors should have a copy of it or know it well.
Thank you for your interest in my auction and stopping by to view it.
