The listing, 1964 Topps #365 CAL McLISH (Phillies) EX-MT has ended.
Originally making the team at 18 with no minor league experience, Cal took a while to come around. After a subpar rookie season with the Dodgers in 1944, Cal pitched only 9 innings the next 7 years until a steady job showed up in Chicago in 1951 ... and that was his last callup until 1956.
The late bloomer turned it around, becoming an All Star in 1959 and an MVP candidate in 1958 and 1959 with the Indians. By the time he reached the 1964 season rolled around he was 21 years removed from his rookie failures and one of the more respected starters in the game.
Nice card, EX-MT or better.
Great card for a fan, a set collector, or a vintage collector.
IMPORTANT:
-Because I do not use a SmartPhone, I access the site infrequently throughout the week. I am rarely available for "haggling". I'm not being rude and trying to ignore you, this is a work/family vs time issue.
-If you don't feel like the item is "worth it", don't buy it (this simple trick is a lot easier than many users realize).
-I am terrible at following comments. Sorry about that.
