Glad to see a jewelry auction getting bids but I have some doubts about this whole XNK transition. Traffic on my current listings has been nonexistent where once you would at least get watchers a day or two after listing. Trying to hang in there but does anyone know the steps for setting up your wallet to change XNK to dollars to get paid. Can’t find that anywhere and wallet keeps saying the function to withdraw isn’t currently working. For most of us that use Listia the ability to change XNK to real money is the Biggest reason we are still staying hopeful about staying with Listia. I have always been a big fan of your auctions by the way but am often outbid. Maybe will win one sometime... :)

Traffic is a lot slower, but dont let that scare you away. I think it will just take a little bit. What wallet are you using? Sadly, I do not share in the joy of this XNK. As a Listian of nearing 10 years I think this will in end hurt Listia long term more so. Its been interesting to note that other "Big name" Auction sites refuse to use a Cyrpocurrency for fear of sagging sales....While I'm all for progress, I look at the majoirty of Listians and many newbies who simply cannot or will not comprhend this so rather to "try and keep" figuring it out, they will go elsewhere. :( The listings, the Sales on here since the conversion have been pathetic to say the least & when you have offering something this AMAZING I am too disheartened that it isn't getting the shake or bids it ought to be had it be Credits- Im not sure myself how much longer I'll stay with Listia....Having had 300 Listings, down to 16 right now...I cant say this is much fun these days but I too shall hang for a bit & Lurk....Been helping other Listians with their postings- MOST are so confused- Listing socks for = $95 in USD ...LOL

You are very welcome my friend. Okay, so let me try to help. Yes Listia is sorting out all the remaining credits, and they should be on a complete XNK system once all of the credits have been used, converted etc. So With your large amount of credits, what you do is click your profile pic top right corner, for the drop down menu, then click on your credits, You will see a Balance, Store credit, and credits. click on credits, Then it will ask you to the right of it to convert your credits, click on that. It will let you know that once you convert them, you will not be able to change them back. ( Thats okay, Because we are using the new system now with XNK) click accept, and convert. It will do it right before your eyesd. Its awesome.( The exchange rate is 1 xnk for every 3850 credits, so the number will appear smaller, but its the same just converted for you. make sense. Let me know when you do it. Hope I helped a little. Let me know if I can help with anything else.

also if you wanted to bid on this auction even though its an XNK auction, You can Bid with your credits, It does the math and converts it for you when you bid too.

This is a Big Change, I guess you would have to understand cryptocurrency.
Im still learning and tryingto understand myself.
everyone is so mad, they hate it they are repulsed by the term crypto currency.
well what were credits??? No bank honored those. Not even a marketplace outside of listia.
So I believe what Listia is trying to do is expand the options. XNK is Trading outside of listia. Its a BIG learning curve, and a lotto take in. Ive been playing around with it and navigating a bit, But It can be a challenge.
Eventually The price of XNK outside of listia will stabilize, high/Low ( Hopefully high for us), you will have the option to cash out for USD YES it is TRUE, But It is not easy and can be challenging.
I hope this helps a little, I dont have all the answers, But I do have a understanding of it. But it is HARD, difficult and challenging. but not impossible.

I heard that too, Yes the XNK can fluctuate up and down. Outside of listia extremely. Our hopes is that it goes up and stays up :) I dont know enough about how often or how much it changes here on listia, I know outside of listia it varies by he minuet because of all the trading etc.

Second part is a little more tricky lol, You would have to open up a wallet, and you have to be careful because some sites look the same, there are some reputable wallets out there ( electronic wallets) Then ( hang on it gets tough) you have to transfer your xnk to an exchange that accepts and trades XNK . Listia will be updating us(( im sure soon)) with more information, and even their own app for us to use. then here is the kicker, before you can trade it for usd, you will have to trade it for a more popular and trading crypto then another wallet that does trades and transfers to your bank. now keep in mind this is my understanding of it, I have done a little moving, not trading yet. but it is HARD!! complicated and you have to be careful and know what you are doing or you can lose your xnk for good. I would wait a little until Listia comes out with the app. that will make it so much easier and the market should have stabilized a little by then.
whew. did any of that make sense... LOL

always send a small amount of xnk to be sure it goes through and you are doing it right before sending a big amount.

Hi keleigh, glad you stopped by. That's what I did, transferred all my credits. And if you have any credit auctions running currently, when you get paid you will have those in credits balance, and can transfer those too. You will notice some credit auctions won't renew, you will have to relist them with xnk ( that happened to me)

So much fret over XNK. It’s really no different than credits. It’s virtual money like bitcoin. If you are using your remaining credits Listia shows you the transition value when you tap on ‘bid’ . 8 XNK is $1.12, 20 XNK is $2.50. 40 XNK is $5 and so on. But I like ‘real’ cash better. It is what it is!

I recoment you contact member support, and open a support ticket. They will be able to help you and your bidder.
Its hard because with any transition you have bumps in the road. I stand with Listia during this time, and I know I am not alone. This storm will pass. Listia needs our support. what they are doing is HUGE, and its not easy. I commend them and send positive vibes during this time.

I seen it when I clicked on a get it now on a 20mil credit auction and after I pressed on the get it now button it brought me to another page and it showed the ratio of XNK to Credits and how much I owed after that, with a option to add in my credit card information lol. I don't see the ratio any where else. I also don't see the VIP monthly listia plan deals they have or any way to buy XNK on listia anymore. What the hell is going on. I am really thinking about not selling on this site anymore.

Oh wow, I didint know. I have a customer that wasent able to purchase xnk, so I opened a support ticket, it's a glitch there working on it. Be assured it will be fixed soon. Just lots of bugs right now. Don't leave♡♡♡♡ stick it out♡♡♡♡ I think it will all work out. They are Just working on addressing the issues, that's why we haven't heard anything yet. Actually, I can still sell my credits. I just cashed in 15 million. The rest I had I converted to INK. I am still getting credits in from auctions I had pre-INK. May sell them or convert them.. not sure yet :) Great auction by the way!!

Listia recently changed the credit/XNK ratio, it was 1 XNK was 3850 credits , now it's 1 XNK is 2,475 credits. I think listia has a lot of nerve to keep changing the ratio and it's really not fair to those who sell expensive items on here for credits that are losing their value over night.

(Ps you can convert xnk to usd but for 1 it’s not worth anything outside of listia{less than 5 cents today} secondly, it’s a pain in the patooty, and thirdly, you may or may not get the smart contract to accept your transfer AND you have to pay money in Ethereum to convert it) but yes it can be changed into usd just not in listia.

Not yes lindsey. Not yet. Its in it's infancy stage. And as long as you know what you are doing outside of listia and are using reputable sources. It is available, but yes. It is complicated. Outside of listia.
But we're in listia, bidding and selling, and it's at 14 cents So we are good, as long as everyone understands the conversion of old credits.

3850 credits is 1 XNK, so 100 XNK is 385,000 credits, however many XNK you have or want to see what it is in credits just take the # of XNK and multiply it by 3850 that will give you the amount in credits that the XNK is. make sense. :) let me know if I can help with anything else

You can only cash out credits on the web site. Not with the app.
So people using the app only are stuck with credits they can't convert to ink or cash out.

On your phone you can open a web page for Listia, log in and convert or cash out that way.
Much easier on a computer but it IS possible on a phone or tablet. You have to use a browser to log into your account, instead of the app.

I hope that helps a few people I've seen commenting here!

My last auction started a few hours before XNK, and while I used to get 40+ watchers / bidders on the same type auction, this time I got 6. The person who won couldn't even believe it! The postage was more than the value of the credits I got. That said, I believe if Listia would put the number of credits needed to convert to what people are asking for XNK, it would help until the conversion is complete. One seller was asking for XNK equal to $14,000 for a $3-$4 item, and also asking for help because she knew it wasn't correct. Their instructions were just not very clear.

So, I am going to keep an eye on your auction (nice one), and sorry for ranting on your page! LOL! Maybe I will figure it out eventually. :)

Yeah, It has been slower :( makes me sad, Because I love listing Fabulous auctions, But it makes it hard to keep listing them if people are arent bidding. I had one auction end for very low credits, and I paid Priority shipping almost $8 But I knew that was a risk. Just waiting it outto see if Listians are going to keep bidding, and like my auctions, If not I Will just have to do GIN from here n out. Good job trying to help people understand. Keep in mind as you get more questions that you can only concert credits to ink using the web site. Can't be done in the app. So I that is where a lot of the confusion lies.

Also Listia charges you 3,850 credits = 1 ink when you convert credits. But now Listia is using a different calculation when people using ink to bid on a credit listing using ink. 2,475 credits = 1 ink but I'm not sure of that number. It can change without notice.

Ink went below 4 cents this weekend on the exchanges. I believe Listia is using 9 cents for the market rate (I.e the number of credits applied when you use ink to bid on a credit listing). So neither the 3,850= 1 ink (I.e. 14 cents) NOR the "market rate" at 9 cents are accurate.

If/when Listia sells ink for $$ again I have no idea what "market rate" they will use. Listia does not explain or announce any of these changes to the community, so you are on your own figuring out this slippery slope.
