Questions & Comments
You can spin it how you want, but credits just transferred over. Anyone that had their credits transferred to ink did so at a .14 cent value. You expect people to lose 71% in credit value right off the bat, your nuts. Credit prices got way out of hand, which is one of the reasons listia went to ink. The value will rise back up, and hopefully this new system will put a stop to this nonesense.
Sure but you expect sellers to take the 71% loss right because I should sell at .14 cents when it’s only worth .05 cents? Hey, like I tell everyone that likes to post on people listings and complain how the listed price is too high, no one is pointing a gun to your head and forcing you to buy anything. If you don’t like the prices, don’t buy it. It’s very simple. What is the point of complaining about it? So are you saying all sellers should list everything at prices only the buyers want to buy it at? Irregardless of whether the price of xnk is .14 cents or .05 cents or $10, if I wanted to list this at a million xnk, are you saying that I can’t do so because you feel that it is overpriced?
Part of the problem is we're still in a state where there's a combination of credits and xnk listed... so you have 8,888,000 credits for a gift card for some people but completely different than xnk conversion.
Yup. I want to put up my 2016 Transcendent Lou Gehrig Oversized Cut Auto on here but too bad they only have a 100000 xnk limit. I feel that piece is worth $15-25k easy and I would hate to sell it for xnk that can’t be converted to cash on listia. Probably second best in the set behind babe Ruth.
Yea I saw that. I can’t keep up with the drops. At current rates the 6000xnk would only be worth $288 before fees. I’m contemplating if I should raise it again.
how about you check out the real price of xnk and stop going by whatever the site says? If I told you my goose lays golden eggs, would you believe me? Do your own research and then why don't YOU use a calculator and tell me what that comes out to.
1. You will never keep up with INK value..Cause it will raise and drop every day.
2. To the person that said credits have transferred over already to INK. Your misinformed. People that have credits still have them and can bid on things going for credits. If something is using INK. If you win the auction..your credits will be converted to INK. At 3,850 credits per 1 INK. I still have credits and still bid on credit items....I don't nor never had INK. And I've done won 4 INK auctions.
Once everyone's "Credits" are used up....Listia will not have credits anymore....only then will Listia be solely INK.
ALL new listings are using INK. But MANY people still have things listed as credits.
True, that is the nature of cryptos. They are very volatile. It seems all cryptos are crashing again. Bitcoin down to $7800, ethereum down to $587, etc. this will drop xnk down even more. I think listia keeps it at .14 on here to try to maintain a sense of stability. I think it’s great for those that plan to keep xnk on listia but bad for those that plan to transfer it off and use it somewhere else.
i noticed that listia has temporarily removed the option to buy xnk and today i noticed that they removed the xnk is .14 cents price up in the top right corner of their site. So this leads me to assume that they no longer have a set conversion price and is starting to use the exchange market price. Even in their reward items. They used to list them using the .14 cent rate but now they are using a much closer rate to the .05 cents that is on the exchanges. For my listings, i am using the .05 cent conversion rate because who knows where it will be tomorrow.
oh so it seems that they have changed the conversion rate to .09 cents per xnk. still lower than the current exchange rate of .05 but better than the .14 before
yes that must be just noticed it. If people are valuing it at .14 cents they are mislead listia really need to explain or fix it in their help section misinforming people.
yup. oh well. i'm glad i didn't convert any of my credits to xnk in the beginning. feel bad for those that did. instant 60% devaluation. I'm cashing out what i can and just going to be in a sit and wait mode.
I have been reading the comments on your listing and since I have bought from you before and been very very satisfied I wanted to add for the people to read. YES if you figure what xnk is worth to what you would pay in cash you are going to overpay for whatever you are buying on here. But I list and sell things on here that I would otherwise never move unless I just gave them away. I use those credits to purchase items I want on here that I would otherwise never purchase. I am still getting used to xnk over credits but I think everyone will get it soon. I feel more like it is a way for me to save and invest. The only downfall is the free shipping I offer. It adds up so I am probably not making anything by doing this anyway, but its fun and I pass along items to others that want them. I would love to figure out an alternative way of shipping. The usps and ups and fedex are making a killing. Keep up the good work listing my friend. I love your coins.
