I posted this with the intention to explore the new currency and how it affects bidding. What do you think?

I hate it. Don't understand how they calculate the amount. What about you? How do you like it?

I do not like the way they calculate the amount. If you were to buy the amount of credits I had through the website, I would have gotten more ink than I did. Further, I've been concerned for a couple years that when I started with Listia, the number of credits you could buy for five dollars was much lower than more recently. When I voiced my concern, I was told Listia was increasing the number of credits you could buy per dollar in order to keep on par with the value that was being received when members put their credits up for bid. That didn't really make sense to me, but now I realize they were looking to create the necessary values needed to justify the move to the new currency. In my mind, this new currency that can be used on other sites is good for that reason--but I haven't found another site that uses it, and I am going to try it for a while, reserving final judgment until I've used it enough to get a good handle on how its working.

Yes, the handle is removable.
