Description

The listing, Willow Tree Celebrate With Joyful Anticpation Figurine Sculpture By Susan Lordi 2003 EUC has ended.

Hello Everyone!! Looks like the XNK Market Rate has dropped from 0.14 cents to 0.09 cents per XNK. Since I start all my bids off at 19.99, that's worth $1.80. To get that number, you take 19.99 X .09 cents = $1.80. If you wish to place a bid, figure out how much you would buy for an item like this. For example, if you wish to place a $5.00 bid, you take $5.00 and divide it by 0.09 cents, it comes to 55.56, which is what you would type in the bidding section. Helps to have a calculator.

What you see in the photos is exactly what you're getting. It's 4 1/2 inches high ~ 3 inches wide with wings & is in EUC~ Excellent Used Condition. Please look over photos. Due to increasing shipping cost, I can no longer offer the GIN option ~ nor can I afford their fees. As always, free shipping within the USA. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

I so agree with you. It seems like why bother to sell. Everyone so afraid of it and doesn't understand. And with everything in the news about the IRS and taxes and things on that order others are afraid to sell or buy for fear that they're messing with their taxes for next year. My guess is as something doesnt change we may see this site bite the dust just like many others have in the past. But this will be of its own making from changing from credits to something that people don't want to know about and if they do if it seems too complicated for them. Looks like they're going to lose some more Sellers as well as a bunch of buyers that we've all lost. They won't even acknowledge anything on their site about this. So it's going to get better it's going to get better well guess what it's not getting better it's getting worse so I have to agree with you my days are numbered here at list for 2 both as a buyer and a seller!!!!!!!

Thank you for sharing your sentiments. I knew I wasn't alone in this. You've mentioned this tax issue and I was issued one from eBay and I was shocked. I have been a seller of theirs since 1999 and now I have to pay taxes for the items I've sold? This has never happened before. So, I'm in the process of shutting down my eBay store and I fear, I may have to do the same with Listia.. Pretty soon, I'm sure they'll find a way for people to pay their taxes from selling in a yard sale or something. It's becoming a joke. Seems like Uncle Sam doesn't want any of us to have any money at all. They would prefer us to be poor. It's such a shame too. No one deserves to be poor. :(

Returning to Listia after 6 years. I'm very confused about all the conversions. I don't know what GIN means because the directions are vague. So, if I bid and win are you saying that you only take INK. And that is also confusing to me. Thanks for your help. Connie

My friend got a tax bill from ebay also & by the time she writes off her operating expense of

Pacakaging materials, postage, fuel, home office, office supplies the bill became managable..

I am a self employed commercial painter & use Quick Books Pro for bookeeping & i wrote that off too..lol..

However if you gave Excel you can simply create your own spreadsheets including cummlative totals which i use for my " 2nd set" of book work

I do not mind paying my fair share of taxes but not one penny more

Well, I can't do anything about it this year, but I'll be more prepared next year. Truthfully, I'm planning to shut down eBay, it's not conducive for me to continue it. As for Listia, I'm just going to get rid of everything I have left on hand and then I'll probably shut this down too. I can't make money from this site other than to win items on here. They don't have much to offer as far as what I'm into. It is what it is, right?

That’s an awesome idea, Susan, I will have to add up all my postage fees shipping materials and what not and use it to write off against my 1099K I received from eBay this year.

Well first, welcome back!! Second, Listia has changed a lot in the last 6 years and this new XNK format is only a few weeks old. We no longer deal with credits, we deal with XNK. You'll see some people still selling in credits for those who still have credits on their account. Once all those credits are used up, we'll only be dealing with XNK. So, if you wish to know how much the GIN is worth, you just multiply the number by the market rate of .09 cents, which is what it's going for now. Let's say someone has a GIN for 555.25, you take that number and multiply it by 0.09 cents and that item is worth $49.97. Now, if there's no GIN and wish to place a bid, you just divide the number by 0.09 cents. Let's say you wish to pay no more than $8.00 for the item. You take $8.00 and divide it by 0.09 cents and it comes to 88.89, which is what you would type in the bidding section. It would help to have a calculator. If you have no credits or XNK in your account, you can purchase XNK quite easily. You click on your photo top right corner of this page, scroll down and click store credit. Click reload store credit and it will let you have the option of buying their ink. On a good note, they give you extra ink when you pay with a credit card. Other ways of earning ink is by doing surveys or selling your items. Hope this helps you and if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask. :)

i am still learning myself, the new credits is different but with figuring the conversion,it is exactly the same and we are not losing any money,it works the same. my best advice is to read what are great member ,mindbodyspirit explains to us on this listing and on some of his old listings. i know this may sound strange but it is the same thing, only different, will be watching and plan on bidding, good luck !!!!
