I'd bought this book in the condition that it's in right now with the intention of reading it and simply haven't had the time. In photo 3, this shows "praise for a landmark novel" which are the positive reviews for this book. From the little that I know of the author, Colombian-born Gabriel Garcia Marquez won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1982; this novel followed his international best seller, "One Hundred Years of Solitude." This is a softcover 348 page book with the copyright being 1988; therefore it's rather inevitable that this book would show signs of aging and wear. I will be honest that there are yellowing of the pages and some creasing, however, there are no markings of the pages nor tears so the book is definitely usable. Given that I'm not sure if people read paperbacks anymore, I'll start this listing at a low bid. Please keep in mind that I can only ship on Saturdays due to my work schedule. Thanks for looking!
