Up for auction is a Co-Star sweetheart bracelet; On the inside of the bracelet it is marked Co-Star and sterling base. I am sure there is a rolled gold content on the bracelet and heart. The heart itself measures about .5 inches by .5 inches. The band is .5 inches in width as well. The band is 5 inches unexpanded and expands up to 8 inches. The heart has a floral design engraved upon it. The band also has a design engraved on it. There are no monograms on this bracelet. This bracelet dates to the 1940's. Due to the bracelets age there is some wear on this bracelet. This bracelet is in good condition. This is a beautiful bracelet. .925 Sterling Silver Base. Gold Plated.

Just a little history behind the bracelet: Co-star. History - The jewelry manufacturer, Co-Star, was located in Providence RI and was in production from 1943-1965. Style of bracelet is commonly referred to as a "sweetheart" bracelet. They were popular gifts during the WWII era & were often given by soldiers to their sweethearts.
