This is a nice collection of 53 used stamps off paper. Some of the newer issues (post 2007) are very difficult to remove from paper since most have unsoakable adhesives. They do take a bit of time to work on each individual stamp but the nicer result is worth it. No paper or gum remnants and the surface of some shiny stamps maintain their appearance without cracking the way they would in water. I've ruined some nice stamps by soaking them. :(

I recently purchased some nice kiloware so I'm listing some here to share. (o^-^o) There are some nice recent stamps in this collection including a Charlie Brown Christmas, Animal Rescue, Bonsai Trees, Total Solar Eclipse, Civil War Sesquicentennial, Settlement of Jamestown and Disney Pixar's Monsters Inc. Some even appear to be uncanceled. These stamps would be great to fill some holes in your collection and anything you already have you can relist. Listia is honestly the best place for stamp trading. I love being able to list my duplicates and get new stamps.

I collected stamps as a youth and had about 20 albums. Sadly, I ended up selling the entire collection in order to pay for an attorney to get custody of my first born (I won). I joined Listia a few years ago and just happened to run across an auction for used US stamps and the "spark was re-ignited". I've learned so much more now than I did then. The comment was made that Listia is a great place for stamp collectors, and indeed it is. The internet wasn't even around then (in my youth) like it is today, if you all can imagine. No Listia, E-bay....even Google. Thanks for listing this awesome auction!

That must have been an amazing collection. It’s a shame your collection had to be liquidated for attorney’s fees but the end result was well worth it.
