The listing, salt spoon ? has ended.

I don't know much about this as I found it outside an auction house in New Orleans.
I am guessing it is a salt spoon.
It is just under 2 and a half inches long and a half inch wide at the bowl. The back is marked, "ITALY".
Don't know what it is made of but the metal appears yellowish, maybe brass. It is in very good condition.

This may be a long shot, but when I first looked at this it reminded me of my grandmother. She was a snuff dipper and I could imagine her using this to get her pinch, lol.

Hello, if the cup of the spoon had any slits I would say it could be an absinthe spoon where you sit cubes of sugar and drizzle the absinthe over it but looks like the spoon is whole. Sooooo... F&W
