Description

The listing, Climbing Roses--GOLD has ended.

This auction is for 5 seeds for golden climbers. 10 if GIN is used

I DO NOT GUARANTEE GERMINATION OF SEEDS. I have no control over soil, light, water, ph, fertilizer, pests, sun, temperatures, scarification or stratification or the care that you provide, etc. What I sell, I grow too. Some are successes, some not so much.

I mail thru USPS, regular first class mail, not overnight, not priority mail nor am I putting tracking on it unless you pay for it. Many times it takes more than 3 weeks to get items thru the mail. If you are not going to allow a couple of weeks from mailing DO NOT BID. If you file a dispute in less than 21 days, I will consider it buyers remorse and per listia rules, only the lister can agree to refund the credits for buyers remorse. I know this because I have it in writing. I will dispute it as you have been given my terms in writing. If you bid on an auction that has a shipping charge, you need to pay it. NO EXCUSES. If you do not pay the shipping charge, you will be BLOCKED. If you win one of my auctions and do not pay or provide a verified address within 7 days again you will be BLOCKED. If you have buyers remorse, you will be BLOCKED. If you do not leave feedback within 30 days of the auction and have not let me know via email that you have not received the item yet, you will be BLOCKED. You should contact me if you have not received your item rather than just filing a dispute. These conditions are in addition to the rules set forth by Listia. BY BIDDING ON MY AUCTION YOU ARE AGREEING TO THESE TERMS AND IT IS A CONTRACT.

Can you give an approximate germination rate? And also too, does it root from woody cuttings?

My germination rate on the seeds for climbers (I have like 7 or more different ones) has been pretty much 60-70%. Much easier to root up from newer growth rather than cuttings from older woody areas of the climbers.

Thank you. So, not like bush rose that you would only use the woody portion for rooting. Are these a thorny variety? Like heirloom varieties?

So far it does no seem to be super thorny but I have some different varieties of regular rose bushes that every year see to be thornier.

I've basically been turning my fences into fragrant barbed fencing and so grow climbing roses and black raspberries on them. An organic barbed wire fence is the image I am going for.
