ur listing sounds pretty good but, according to apple, 3rd gen ipods only came in 32gb & 64gb. could this possibly be a 2nd gen? can u look below the 8gb on the backside and tell me what model number it says? that will tell us which generation ipod u have. 2nd and 3rds are very similar but can be identified by certain details.

also, can u write ur listia username on a piece of paper and place it beside the ipod so we know this is a real listing? would love to bid if it is. theres a ton of scammers on listia with no verification (something u have) and zero feedback (also something else u have as well). u look more trustworthy than a newbie with no verification and zero feedback.

thanks for any help u can give. will watch ur listing closely. i am looking for an ipod for a friend. she loves mine and i want to help her get one too.

Gada - Thank you for this resource. The model is A1288 which makes it a 2nd generation. All this time my daughter has been telling me it was a 3rd generation. I will change the listing description right away.

gada he has seller wings and plenty of verification more than most of the newbs on here plus 9 sales there is worse around here with 0 sales and no verification and its not like hes asking for a shipping charge and listia assures you your credits back it takes awhile but if it is a scam then you would get credits returned anyways NICE AUCTION ZPAISS

Thank you for the great questions and comments. My daughter (the owner of the iPod) has it with her today at school. The glass is perfect without a scratch or crack anywhere. I will take another picture this evening with my username zpaiss on a paper next to it and possible even a picture of me holding it as well. Happy to help ally any fears. The people I have met here on Listia have all bee wonderful and I want to keep up the high quality. Regarding miles... if you include trips to and from school by my daughter I would say in the 100 - 150 mile range... lol

The only question that might be lurking is whether the hand in the picture I posted earlier today is really MY hand. A hand holding an ipod doesnt mean its your hand just cause the seller says it is. Usually you write your listia username down on a piece of paper and put it next to the ipod your selling and take a picture of it, and post it in your ad. That way we know its YOU who has the ipod, and not just a random photo or group of photos off the internet. Im not bidding, so it doesnt matter to me either way, i was just explaining the way a ipod verification is usually done. Good luck though, i know your going to do really well on listia, this a good way to start!

@gadawgsfan, 3rd gen ipod touch's did NOT just come in 32 and 64gb models, they had 16gb also, cause I have one. However I dont know if they had 8gb models, but im assuming they did.
