Folks been looking through my jewelry bench and I found some very beautiful older Sterling silver rings with stones.

Today I will be listing three of these rings and they are all beautiful. This three stone ring looks like a super fancy expensive diamond ring, but its not (Our little secret)

Three beautiful created CZ gemstones mounted into Sterling silver (Which has been tested) These three rings that I'm listing today are from a old inventory that I bought many years ago.

This three gemstone beauty is between a 5.5 and a six in size , and since its silver it can always be sized if needed. This is a beautiful ring and it looks like it would have cost 10,000 or more!

I'm going to let you all decide the price on this beauty so the bidding will start at 1 INK

So get to bidding it will be gone before you know it.

If a honest new buyer with ZERO feedback wants to bid on my auctions, and not be BLOCKED all they have to do is ASK!
  • Original
I completely understand, it's very frustrating, I agree! But sellers aren't going to know if someone is a newbie unless they either post a comment or place a bid.

As a seller, I'm right there with you though, I would love it if Listia gave the option to screen them out before they had a chance to waste our time & make the honest Listians lose out. Too many times, auctions are won & either not paid for or paid but no address gets provided. I think newbie members should be required to obtain at least 1-5 positive seller feedback ratings before they should be allowed to proceed as a buyer.

I wish you the very best on your amazing auctions :) Fanned & watching

Thank you, and I've been lucky with over 280 sales in the past 45 days, but that number would have been at least 15% higher without the non-payers.

And 99% of non payers are those who just registered within a few days, before placing a bid.

All that the newbies have to do is email me asking to bid on my auctions.

And Yes Listia needs a rollback availability on all bids, also it would be nice to offer a second chance to other bidders that lost because of non-payers.

No disrespect intended, but if a newbie bids on your auction, you can't remove it or refuse to send item unless they don't pay or don't provided their saved shipping address. As per Listia's rules, it is sellers responsibility to ship regardless of who wins or what the ending bid is. It's a beautiful ring, btw.. was just pointing out that newbies can't be rejected from bidding all because they are newbies... and if they place a bid, blocking them does no justice unless they are outbid.

I agree! My problem is they DON'T PAY! Or answer emails.

Their whole purpose is to screw up sales and that's exactly what they do, it prevents the honest people from winning a fair auction. So Yes I will continue to BAN and BLOCK all new bidders without feedback.
