The listing, False Agave, False Aloe, Giant Asparagus, Furcraea Foetida has ended.
These plants grow to 6' H & W. After 7 - 10 years they produce a 20' flower stalk. The yellow flowers are followed by hundreds - thousands of topset plantlets rather than seed pods. They bloom once, then die. As the flowerstalk droops to the ground the baby plants root where they touch. Alternatively, you can remove them to plant, or, sell.
These are great centerpieces for rock gardens. If you live above Zone 8b they will need to be a container plant. They do okay potted, but, require a warm location. Obviously, if it starts to bloom, you'll need to place it outside until it's done.
The 1st picture shows how it will appear at 3 - 5 years of age. The plant you receive may be either slightly smaller, or, slightly larger than what is in the 2nd picture.
