Description
The listing, DIAMOND 100% NATURAL GEMSTONE MARQUISE CUT THAT IS JUST FULL OF BEAUTY AND READY FOR A NEW HOME! has ended.
Folks here is a most beautiful Marquise cut diamond that weighs 7 points on my diamond scale. This is a high quality diamond with clarity and nice clear color.
Bidding will start at 1 INK! And folks it would cost you a whole lot more in a jewelry store, so grab mine and save yourself some bucks.
earlhandy : Diamonds ARE ALSO measured in "Points" on the decimal system, 100 "Points" to a Carat (Ct) which would mean that there is .25 points to a quarter Ct and 10 points to a tenth of a carat etc. I can assure you that it has been thus for more than 100 years on "The Block" which is the worlds "Diamond District" on 47th street Manhattan NYC
Yes you are correct and unless stated my diamonds are listed in points. Now they do consider a one carat stone anywhere from 95-105 So if you buy a carat diamond it could be within that stated range. I weigh all of my gemstones ad I state the weight in Carats and points! Also five carats equals one gram. I've been in the Jewelry business since I was 13 And have my GIA in Diamonds and Color stones. So I kinda know what I'm talking about. Now if I made a mistake in a post please let me know so that I can correct it.
Now if you have any other questions or concerns please let me know.
Your previous comment about my price being HIGH I just dare you to find somebody, anybody who sales quality diamonds or gemstones at my prices. I might have been a little Harsh in responding to your previous comment, but I don't accept ignorance in peoples comments. You cannot find diamonds anywhere for my prices! And 450 INK is about 30.00 dollars, so show me a wholesaler or retail jeweler that sells a quality 10 point diamond for 30.00 YOU CAN'T FIND ONE!
Hi Bob...I was not questioning you ....I was simply agreeing with what you said about the diamond industry using the "Point" system to measure ALL types of stones. Thanks for an interesting choice of listings!
My Family owned three jewelry stores in LA when I was growing up, so at 13 I started working in them. Learned watchmaking and later I opened my own store and started making jewelry, which I still do to this day. Most people don't understand points or carats, they want to know size. But I like to give points so that they will know the weight, and then won't complain about the size when it arrives. A lot of people will say well it's not as big as photo on my monitor DUH! I would be rich if all of my diamonds are as big as the photo on my Monitor, I have a 43 inch screen.
Yes it is and if you want a bigger diamond I have those also! But to tell you the truth some people that are getting married would be more than happy with a ten point diamond.
