The listing, Scottish Piper Postcard has ended.
The postcard measures 6 3/4” X 4 1/2”. I have had this in my collection for a very long time in a “shadow box” that had a Scotland theme. As this box was just taking up space, I decided that I’d open it and see if this postcard was still in good condition. In honesty, the postcard still has a sticker across the top that reads, “Scotland” in a tartan background and another sticker of a small map of Scotland. I’m afraid to remove them for fear that this would rip the card; yet I do think that the stickers do add somewhat of a nice touch. Inevitably, the card does show signs of aging in the back—I believe that I bought this in around early 2000 at one of those ceileghs(sp.); I don’t remember how you spell it but it’s one of those Celtic fairs. Because the postcard was mounted on the frame inside the shadow box, the little marks from the stickers that held it are still there. I do think that it’s safe to say that this postcard remains in good condition, suitable for framing and a must for anyone who has a love for anything Scots! I’m starting the listing at a low bid...thanks for looking!
