This is being sold as part only because although it works, the battery is bulging a little and the back of the phone does not fit on well. The phone fits into the case without the back of the phone.

As you can see from the pictures, the phone does work. I've been using it as a mini wifi tablet and MP3 Player. It comes with a new $20 case (3 pieces counting rubber trim piece) phone, with phone back, and battery, It is a bargain if you just want it for the case or to use the phone for parts. You can use the phone as is, but there is no guarantee for how long the battery will last. Right now it charges well and holds a charge. It does not get hot while charging. You can buy a new battery for the phone, I don't know how much they cost or where to get them.
