We just bought one of these in silver and my Mom loves it. I bought a used one for her awhile back and it would kick out flour and other thing you threw in the bowl. FOr some reason this one doesn't. You can get a top shield to help you when these mixers throws stuff out but this one doesn't need it. I later discovered the back motor cover was loose on the old one and I think for some reason that might be part of the problem. Anyway, off it is going to charity and my Mom is happy with the new one.
