Description

The listing, RARE FORD MOTOR COMPANY COLLECTABLE Ken Nelson Autobiography has ended.

A rare Ford collectible for the serious FORD enthusiast. 7 legal pads 1 picture and one 1955 ford shop manual The 7 legal pads. is the The hand written autobiography of Ken Nelson. Who was a designer for Ford between 1950's to 1980's. And was the Chief Designer For the 1955 Ford Thunderbird.

How I got it was pure luck and simple timing. Between 2010 and 2015 I was picking up appliances. Probably around 2011 or 2012. Ken nelson called me while he was still alive. I picked up a refrigerator from him. Gave him my business card. "didn't actually know who he was at the time" a couple years later. 2014 ish. Ken Nelson passed away. And his widow Hired me to help fill a dumpster. As she was selling the house and reducing the stuff.
Needless to say I managed to save some things from the trash.

This is whats left

1955 ford shop manual owned by ken nelson. 7 legal pads of his life story although some of the pads are something else. Looks like he was trying to get his ducks in a row to start his own company. But still hand written by him. the pictures included in this are of the very first ford pinto also partly designed by ken nelson.

This is truly a one of a kind. thing for any real car and ford collector.

you can own and drive a ford Thunderbird go to any car show. and make the other Thunderbird owners envious of you having the story of the guy who helped birth the Thunderbird into the world hand written. by him before his death.
