Questions & Comments
No if you offer shipping options that part is paid as Paypal, Google Wallet, Money order etc. But the the actual items are yes, sold with XNK and can be converted thru Bitcoin with a wallet :) Wishing you tons of Luck!! Those have been going quite high lately -- you can always buy XNK too to pad your account lol
so if I get 333.35 is that much or does it only get high after converting it? I seen a women having the buy now for 20,000 to see what comes up was over a hundred plus $. I heard I have to get 7 sales the get gin. I also sold a silver ring for 19.60. Once if you can answer that i should be good. I closed the other auctions till I know what I'm doing. LOL, Also that i have a 20,000 bid up but yet the guy got it for the 333.45. really confused.
There is no coins or points any longer -- Listia is now a cryptocurrency site that runs off of Ink Protocol XNK :) Listia switched over from the 'credits' system about 8 months ago.
Crypto currency got ya. We have a little bit of xrp in uphold I seen we have to use other ones and change it over eventually you should be able to exchange it for higher amounts then real cash? If not I’m building up to get a iPad and a MacBook Pro.
Your best bet is to eductate yourself on the Support pages. I use a outside cryptocurrency site to help with the conversion: https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/ink-protocol But Listia has a page also. Unfortunately the conversion for 333.35 is only $1.87 usd. You have to have 5 completed listings with positive feedback to get your Sellers wings. I always tell people to read the Policies and Terms of the site, and use the Member Support to help with questions --there's topics for just about everything. When I first started I watched and waited a few months before listing to get the hang of it -- but of course many things have changed in the last 7 years lol. I'm not sure if being new how high you can do a starting bid, and Listia does take a percentage fee for higher than 19.99. You already have a bidder on this and they may not of realized that this is local pick up only so you may have a refund on your hands when this ends :/
So I see one women got over on me with the free shipping won at 65.00. I say get out of this but it looks like it you bite the bullet and learn from these mistakes it will pay off. I don't think you would be putting your time if its not getting profitable. How do you knoe if the person paid the right amount? one guy said he was going to pay for shipping by paypal but never did show up on paypal
Was that 65.00 INK or USD?? Free shipping always gets higher bids, but this Ink Protocol system has only been in place since April, so it's still rather new. Before it was a credits based system and the Mods had to finally cap it at 27,500 credits per $1 usd -- back when I started it was 100 credits per $1!!! So lots of changes over the years. We've lost MANY people over the new system --long-timers that were dedicated to Listia and now gone because of the fluctuating, low rate of XNK! I don't sell items at nearly the rate I used to :/ I guess it's a personal choice and what you are willing to accept listing your items at. I always tell people to take the cost of the item + the shipping cost (if offering free) + any listing fees, add them together and make that the GIN price. There are a lot of ppl on here that have no idea how it works and don't follow thru on their listings and shipping/paypal etc. My advise would be stick with someone who has 100% feedback and an established person, however I just got scammed by 2 ppl that were 100%er's and either never responded or took my paypal money and now I'm in the process of getting a refund :/ It's definitely more of a gamble these days then it used to be a year or so ago!!
WOW! My wife said not to use it just by seeing only two bidders working together. I have free ship on some things to. Do I go and take a hard hit of losing about $40 or more to get my ratings up?
Another great site to use for reference -- Thanx masterseamen!! You're always on the ball!
Please if there is anything I can stress about Listia is watch, read all the terms & policies, and check out the Support Pages for any other questions. I always tell newbies to list low end items that can be shipped for free for their first 5 listings to get their seller's wings first -- then you are able to do GIN listings. That's the best advise I can give :)
no she gets it Mondrian. If that works out I will have out and list little things. So if I have $15 in a ring say breaking even thats a crap load of NXK? Can you accept money instead? It that what the gin does it you don't have enough nxk is convert to cash?
Use the conversion chart to tell you what you will get in XNK vs $usd -- the rate fluctuates -- currently 2734.73 XNK would be $15.00. NO you cannot accept money instead of XNK that's strictly against the rules. If you want cash/usd$ for items you'll need to list items somewhere else like letgo, Mercari, FB marketplace, etc. GIN only mean 'get it now' and is the same XNK as you would get when a listing ends, if you only list with GIN (once you are able to) that just means you won't accept bids --it's just a flat price.
I returned all money except the on girl that is getting a really nice silver ring. That will be one set. I got some other stuff I can put on cheap. So when she receives the ring she leave will leave positive feedback and thats what they go on?
youthemom How do you refund someone because I didn't know the system yet? Some filed for refund which was great. One girl gets ring on monday. So we will see.
