Questions & Comments
It is a lady’s necklace watch, they were popular in the mid-late 60’s. I have one Thai received as a graduation gift in ‘66.

12 o'clock is upside down so when you are wearing it and you pick it up to look at the time it is right side up. It's made that way on purpose.

Yes just needs a battery but I’m not sure where you put it in or anything like that if you zoom into the photos you’ll be able to see the twist pin to set the right time on it on the opposite side of where the chain is at

it might be a wind up movement.

Yes it could be I’m not sure
Jun 7th, 2019 at 4:22:52 PM PDT by
I don’t believe it will have a battery. None of these that are antiques used batteries. They’re all wind up.
Jun 7th, 2019 at 8:44:04 PM PDT by
Will the winding stem turn when it is pushed in? If it does, it only needs to set the time and wind it. If it doesn’t turn, it is wound to tight, which any jeweler or watch repair person could easily repair it.

Witch way would I need to turn it to wind it up?
Jun 7th, 2019 at 8:48:39 PM PDT by
Forward to wind it, If it isn’t wound to tight, then just wind it back moving the stem back & forth until it stops (make sure the stem is pushed in).
Jun 7th, 2019 at 8:55:25 PM PDT by
Yep, no battery.
Jun 7th, 2019 at 8:56:16 PM PDT by

Jun 7th, 2019 at 9:05:11 PM PDT by
