How bad are the blocks damaged? Hard to tell in my cell.

it's not finished by any means and the thread is still but a lot of the corners need to be sewn back down. I just couldn't get the share size right. I don't know exactly when she started it but you will see the difference in the sizes on the back side when she stopped and I started. I lost everything when I lost my house in 2008 and haven't found the heart to try anymore. I hope you win and I have no idea how much the shipping will be it is pretty heavy and some what bulky. I will include the original instrtuctoins with the quilt to the winner. good luck

I am sorry for some reason I was thinking of the other one. there is edge damage from wear and tear the borders between the blocks need repair and the batting in places need repaired. it has been used a lot over the years. it was my parents quilt and they passed onto me. it has two tears that go all the way through the outside edge one side. but the fact that it is in such good shape knowing how it has been stored and moved over the last 20 years is amazing. the two of them were in a plastic storage bag to keep them from getting wet or seriously dirty. I smoke so they may smell like it. sorry for that.

I can't enlarge enough but it looks in rough shape. May I ask you to keep outside, away from smoke, as much as possible? Lay them in grass, railing, etc. The fresh air will help remive the smell if cigarette fumes.
Thank you for the information.
I have had to ship before. I used the space bags, compressed the quilt, put ductape along the closure, and shipped.
Usually runs around $12. Then.

It's been storming so much here i am hoping it calms down for a week or two. i will try to put it out at night so it doesn't get sun damage

I have 2 questions - - -
1. Is this listing for 1 quilt or 2. . . because you said, * this quilt and the cathedral window together will be about 18.00 to 20 dollars shipping within the usa . . . . . figure about half that for one of them *

2. What do you mean when you say * there will be shipping costs. * ? . . .
- - - You have this listed as Free Shipping in the USA.

Apologies- - - when I was searching listings, I always click the tab for *free shipping only* . . . This quilt was on the long list of items. . . I did not see until just now, that it is not free shipping. . . . .
- - - I just hate it when Listia puts items on the free shipping page. . .
Apologies again. . .

I'm sorry there seemed to b confusion but I never offered free shipping on either one. I also took the quilts to post office with one zip code and was informed that the cost to that zip code would be about 18.00. they were both in the box. so I am estimating that one quilt would be about half that cost depending on where it is going
