Is the stone dyed magnesite or true turquoise? Are the earrings sterling silver?

The stones are real. Not sure if it is sterling silver but it is lead and nickel free.

It is common to take a piece of magnesite or howlite, less valuable creamy white gemstones, that also have the dark matrix (the brown/black lines through the stones), and dye it to mimic turquoise. Many jewelry items sold by various trendy companies, have stones that mimic turquoise rather than the real thing. Generally real turquoise will have darker, almost black matrix in it while the dyed howlite or dyed magnesite will have matrix which is brown. If the tag says "turquoise stone" rather than "Turquoise" the stone is probably a dyed imitation rather than genuine turquoise.

If the tag does not say "sterling silver" or 925 silver, the item is a mystery metal rather than a precious metal. Although it is lead and nickel free, there are a number other metals that can cause problems. Lead and nickel are just the worst.

You will have to ask paparazzi the tags are not marked.

I can wear cheap metals and I have no problem with paparazzi jewelry. Everything is of high quality.

If the tag doesn't tell you, it is dyed howlite or magnesite.

From what I can see of Paparazzi's site, and their jewelry, the stone is dyed, not genuine.

All the tag says I'd paparazzi. I asked a person who sells it, they use real stones.
