Nice solid wood Pendulum Board with a scratch-proof black felt bottom.

Divination through the use of a Pendulum has been around for thousands of years. Pendulum Boards create a physical representation of the pattern that is usually only in the mind of the reader. To make this, I started with a plain round pine wooden disc. Sanded it until smooth, then applied a walnut stain and let it dry well overnight. I sized and edited the image with text and graphic, then printed it out on a heavy cardstock. Cut the image out and attached it to top surface of disc with modge pod adhesive then let it dry completely overnight. Next day, I applied a clear coat of polyurethane semi-gloss spray to top and sides of the disc. I let that dry in front of a fan for a couple of hours, then applied a second coat of polyurethane spray. Repeated the process, applying a third and final coat. Let that dry thoroughly over two nights. Attached the round black felt bottom with the modge-pod adhesive, and let dry over another night. Done. :)
