Vintage tin round silver box from 1950 - 1960

measures 16" around
measures 5.25" across

top has place to put a picture that measures 3 x 3 inches.

in excellent condition, no scrapes, dents or markings. there is slight discoloration due to age. there are two markings of the number 82 towards back of hinge. the number 82 stands for many things like -

self-determination
independence
business
exploration
teamwork
efficiency

current market value is $100. i am only asking $7.50 and i will pay to ship. makes a great collectors item for your antique collection that can be used in it's current form.


i am not exactly sure what the purpose of this adorable tin box was, but it seems about the right size and shape to be a sewing box. i have also learned that it might have been used for medical supplies back in the 50's.

it is handmade of steel (possibly tin-coated)
