Description

The listing, JOSEPH'S COAT Variegated 6" Cutting has ended.

Winner will get the exact plant shown. I must say that to me it looks like a green tongue with thrush. Gross, right? Yeah. Don't let it lick you because it will stick you! It really really hurts and you feel like a fool when someone has to pick them out of your tongue. Well, that's what I read somewhere. I've never tried it. That would just be crazy.

Lol, love your readings with your plants. Watching. Wish they would grow for me. But every cactus family I get die on me. I don`t know why.
Maybe they can`t grow in my sandy yard.No it isn`t the heat .

A common mistake with many cactus is be sure not to water too much. I go by the motto, "If I'm not sure it needs water then I will wait for another week. Best be very dry as to be wet. Roots rot when the soil stays wet for too long.

Thank you my friend, maybe I will try to grow me a cactus. But want it for inside.
So if I win this one will it get tall or stay short? Maybe I should plant it out side ?

Hi Sara. This is a perfect plant for indoors. It requires very little water and grows into a very striking cactus. I am posting an additional picture for you. It's my plant like this one that I have in my greenhouse. It's only a year old but you can get an idea of how it grows. Thanks for your bid!

Hi Sam, my plants are all thriving! They love the plant light I put up, now, I only need you to tell me - what do you use for soil? I'm using miracle grow potting soil...is that alright? Any suggestions? I may need to put them in bigger pots soon...

I am so thrilled to hear that you are enjoying your plants! In my opinion, Miracle Grow is fine. I use it myself and have never suffered ill effects! Some hardcore succulent growers will totally disagree and recommend a cactus blend soil. Miracle grow has this type of soil. For me it's a bit pricey and I have found that as long as I keep a tight handle on the watering (especially in winter) they all do just fine. It sounds to me that whatever you are doing is working great.
If you are needing to re-pot some plants I might suggest to wait until the spring time. They seem to handle the stress better when they are not winter dormant!

I am REALLY totally stoked that I converted you to a succulent grower!!!
