This listing is for 10 unused 1986 Black Heritage Month Stamps with Sojourner Truth. Sojourner Truth was an African-American abolitionist and women's rights activist. Truth was born into slavery in Swartekill, Ulster County, New York, but escaped with her infant daughter to freedom in 1826. Her name was originally Isabella Baumfree but she changed her name in 1843 because "The Spirit calls me, and I must go," and left to make her way traveling and preaching about the abolition of slavery.

The listing also includes a used booklet of 8 cent US Airmail Stamps.
