Up for bid is this beautiful 1930s Lustreware (sometimes called orange luster) bell.I am not certain of the date (was from the estate of a 92 year old gentleman, who he, or someone in the family, had had for a long time). The 1930s was a "best guesstimate"! May be earlier. I have been looking and can not find one similar.
The bell is in really lovely condition! Measures approximately 2-7/8" across the widest part, by 3-1/4" high.
No chips or cracks. The painting on the bird is nicely done. Smoke-free home.
