Most notes in this grade range sell for between $300 and $500. Fine to Very Fine: 1922 $10 gold certificates can pretty much be bought at will in the grades of Fine 12 to Very Fine 35. Prices range from about $90 to $250.

Wow! Beautiful! I wish I could afford to bid for it. Just a note to all who are bidding: since it is legal tender, one can take it to a bank and or treasury office and demand what is on the face, that is $10 in gold coin. We all know the gold one-dollar coin that is also legal tender is worth a whole lot more than the face value stated on the coin. By LAW, a bank and or treasury office is supposed to honor the legal paper currency and do exactly what is stated on it. Now, that oughta jack the bidding a bit, eh??

Listed a woodchopper years ago when I upgraded my collection the sucky part is not many people have that much xnk that was the issue I came across is at a certain point you only get the big players

Yeah. It's risky doing auctions on high dollar items, but old currency seems to be doing really good on Listia lately.
I still don't have a woodchopper for my collection. I've been looking, but have not found the right one at the right price yet.
