Yeah , been holding on to it for years hoping to have time to get it identified.. never did , it’s now up for grabs and hopefully the winner will get the job done and would appreciate knowing what it is if it’s ever identified
The obverse looks like a 1700s British or early colonial USA, but the reverse doesn't match anything I've seen so far. Could be repro but if so they went to a lot of trouble. Great coin!
Well, could be, but I think the E.R. on reverse (I think it's reverse) is an abbrev for Elizabeth Regina ("Eliz. reigns" or something like that.) I'm no coin expert either, wish one would chime in!
