Nice gold chain. Not super bling big and heavy yet not super skinny and dainty either.

Nice auction. 18k is usually a brighter gold almost brassy looking its such a deep color in its self on 18k and above k jewelry. Have you had it tested pawn shops and many jewelry stores always tested for me and its free. Hope that helps, good luck.

Thanks, I never even though what the LED lighting would do to how it looks!
If we ever end up seeing the sun again, I'll try to take a pic in that, but will probably end up washed out.
Nearest pawn shop is an hour away and won't be making the monthly grocery run till the 6th, so that's out.

Best of luck, most places use LED to picture jewelry. With jewelry actual stores using a lot of halogen and incandescent lighting. But for pictures LED works the best in enhancing the vivid colors of the beautiful jewelry that surround using LEDs for overhead lighting. Your LED should show its deep beautiful colors. Wish you the best of luck and there are still some tests you can do at home with out even having the acid, you can google for a list of them. Just have to be careful now a days with so much marked fake gold going around. And knowing the facts about an item always guarantees you the highest bids, people dont like to bid on if's.
