The listing, 2000 P Lincoln Cent Wide "AM" Variety has ended.
This variety coin is listed in the Red Book Guide to United States Coins and also the Cherry Pickers Guide to Varieties. In 1998-2001 the U.S. Mint mistakenly used "Proof" dies for business strike coins. On the regular business strike the "AM" in "America" were spaced close together as they should be. But someone at the mint mixed the proof dies into the mix so the "AM" in "America" are spaced apart from each other creating a new, unintentional, and much sought after new variety. This one, unfortunately has a stained obverse but is still a good filler in order to have this in your album. Mailed correctly and shipped free. Please see 3rd photo so you know what this looks like.
