i understand you cannot open it because the package is sealed, and all, and it will lose it value possibly, but how would we know that it is indeed signed? and authentic? just curious
i mean, i trust you and all, i just mean other people...seeing that you mentioned you keep having to re-list it and no one bids, maybe because they cannot see the actual signature....:)

The packaging denotes that it is a signed copy. If you look up this book online you'll see that it's legit. I'll post the ISBN number when I get hpme this evening... :o)

curious...why the 2 pics have that gold sticker on the front of book, and then the other pic, there is no gold sticker? are they all pics of front of the item? just wondering...is all

They are front and back stickers...the gold sticker on the front is a seal that announces this is an anniversary edition of the book.

No, I will not take the book out of the sealed packaging as this decreases the value of the book for those wishing to bid on it as a "collectors item." Sorry, I can't devalue the book in that way :o)

A quick google search of Ebay and other similar sites showa that this book is currently retailing between $76.00 and $199.00. The "lower end" books are not in sealed packaging...

oh gosh do not open it!! no matter how bad you want too. lol I am sure whoever does win this wonderful auction will not appreciate it like you and i would. most see dollar signs. i have old books i collect from the early 1900's and i truly appreciate the book itself and would never sell it for a easy buck. I would keep this if i was you. Hand it down to your children and so on.
