The PlayStation Classic is an upcoming dedicated video game console by Sony that emulates games originally released on its 1994 PlayStation console. The device was announced in September 2018 at the Tokyo Game Show, and is set for release on 3 December, the 24th anniversary of the release of the original. The console is approximately 45% smaller than the original, uses HDMI output, and is powered by a USB micro port. It will include 20 built-in games and two replica PlayStation Controllers, the original model without analog sticks.
