Older Boy Scout Short Sleeve shirt, tag says Cat. (Catalog) 598 and size 16. I think refers to youth size 16.

Item has been used. Shirt did have some patches on one sleeve. Where patches were could be used as a possible guide to put Council patch if is of similar size and shape. Then is where number numbers numeral were below Council strip patch can be maybe again a guide where could put. See minor spots where shirt may have got snagged. Overall shirt could still be used.

Shirt has American Flag patch on one sleeve, Boy Scouts of America name strip. The name name could be removed. One if call or write to National Scout headquarters Or supply distribution from catalog could maybe inquire if can get if offer a Scouts, BSA name strip. I don't know if offer as a option but just sharing an idea.
A shoulder silver (or maybe grey) loop is just the one for the shirt. Again changes made so may no longer use color.
Note I am note sure of age of shirt. Period range can be from 1980s to 1990s is my guess. Shirt possibly could still be worn for a scout. Maybe want to consult what local scout shop suggests. If a scout needs a shirt this auction can help youth have a shirt. Otherwise newer shirts are of design change and share fact so one can make decisions accordingly. The shirt can also be for one that had a shirt or need as a replacement. Another option is if was a scout that shirt can be taken to a hobby store and a display frame to put shirt on and can put patches, pins on, etc. Just some ideas sharing.
