It is heavy, I like to be honest, even if you dont want heavy, but it is a thick chain, like those rolo charm chains. So I hope that works for your sister if you win, some love chunky or heavy, I do on some jewelry, but not at all on pendants or earrings. I like plain thin rose gold hoops for my earrings, anything heavy on my ears gives me a headache lol. My hair is way to long and that is bad enough...add a few ounces to the ears and its migraine time I guess lmbo. My hoops are so thin they dont even weigh a gram together lol.
