Is this the Aloe that helps with skin care? My dog's nose it chapped & I was told to try Aloe from the plant on it or vitamin E from a capsule.

Hi there! That is a great question! This is an ornamental variety of aloe and has no healing qualities. You are wanting aloe for medicinal uses, the Aloe Vera. You van get 100% aloe gel at many stores. The vitamin E sounds likeit might be more effective.

Thank you for getting back to me. I think tomorrow I will go out to seek the vitamin E her nose looks so sore. I even tried Vaseline but she won't sit still for me to apply correctly & also I don't think the Vaseline should be ingested.
