Up for bid is a whimsical porcelain cat mug. The hand printing along the top rim and on the lid says: “Fast Asleep and Far Away, Cat is Napping, Mice Will Play” “Meow, Purr, Meow” is written on the handle, and on the inside rim with dancing mice, “Fast Asleep”.This is one of the fine porcelain mugs Kent Pottery has produced with a cat, and it is my favorite! If you love cats, you will love this tea / coffee mug! And it has it's own lid to keep your drink warm!
It's in wonderful condition with no apparent usage; purchased at a local charity sale. Measures about 5-1/4" tall and 6" wide if you include the handle.
