It doesn't say on the package anywhere. I think it's too heavy to be porcelain. I'd say it's plastic.

But were there only 6 in Series 1? Or am I not seeing the entire box?

As far as I know, the six that are shown on the package were the only figures for Series 1. I'm not even sure if they produced a Series 2! I have Minnie Mouse as well and will eventually auction it. Just waiting to see how well Ariel does. Thank you for your interest!
