Battery operated - NOT INCLUDED Requires 1.5V #LR44, A76, AG13 OR EQUIVALENT. We found it very difficult to get the batteries into this ornament so we were only able to use it once!!! It did work at that time but just be warned it is not easy to get the batteries in. It is cute to display without the music feature though if you don't want to mess with the batteries!!!!
